3 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started to Slay the Game.

Starting your dream job is sometimes overwhelming but one of the best adventures you’ll go on throughout your life. Whether you’re a college student, just graduated, or found a new dream to conquer. The first step is always the scariest. So, I’ve cooked up the three things I’ve learned to slay the game!

1. Do your research

Whether it’s a blog post telling you to do it or a book written by  one of your idols. They’ve been where you are. The beginning. I used to not be the one who would take time to read books. One day, I decided to read #GirlBoss By Sophia Amoruso and it changed the way I looked ay the word “Slay.”

These writers may have been where you are but every story is different. So, it’s up to you to not only press the start button but to also understand that you need to be the best you that you can imagine!

2. Network, Network, Network!

Until I started the Boss Babe Academy I never understood how Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Made such an impact on your networking skills until this past year! I have made so many connections with people from all over that not only push me to think bigger but can be a valuable asset in my future!

Social Media skills is the “Major key alert” to your future and will open new ideas that you probably would never have thought about in the past!

3. Take the Bull by the Horns, Ladies!

Make a BIG move. Even when you don’t think you’re ready. You’re more ready than you believe. You have the advice, You have the networking skills, and more importantly you have a big dream with the work ethic to conquer it. As scary as it can be, you learn as you go and that makes you better throughout time!

Even a small step can be one of the biggest moves of your career.
